Profile:

Sian O’Neill (MCILEx), a trainee Chartered Legal Executive, joined Slee Blackwell in 2015. She is a qualified Advanced Paralegal and is currently completing her final year as a Trainee Legal Executive and looking forward to gaining full practice rights in August 2024. She specialises in medical negligence claims and is experienced in dealing with many areas of civil litigation. Sian has a particular interest in claims involving delayed diagnoses of cancer and ophthalmic injury.

Sian’s recent achievements include assisting Partner, Caroline Webber-Brown, in the successful seven figure settlement of a rectopexy mesh case, assisting in a high value clinical negligence claim brought by a mother who suffered severe psychiatric injuries as the result of a traumatic birth, and working on a number of complex clinical negligence matters.

When not working, Sian is an active committee member for CILEx Devon, volunteers for a crisis hotline service and plays netball for local team, Chivenor Netters.
